Some Pictures because i suck at using my Blog
There I am waving like an idiot infront of the Rock n' Roll McDonalds. Also these pictures are going up in reverse order and I do not know how to fix that. I'm frustrated and want a grilled cheese sandwich. More pictures (hopefully in the right order) soon.
Here I am getting mentally prepared for the task at hand, like a prize fighter getting ready for the big game...kind of.

It's been a long time coming goddammit but here they finally are, pictures from last Sunday's Big Mac Trip. First I want to thank all 13 of you who made it out to watch this historic event take place. It was a moderately important moment in my life and i was overjoyed to see all the friendly faces there to live the moment with me. The Big Mac itself as sub-par, it was a fast food burger, no more no less. I think more than anything else i really enjoyed the experience and the ridiculousness of the whole event and it got me thinking, what other goofy shit could we all do together...Pie Eating Contest!!! Done. So here's the score, Sunday May 18th, in my backyard, pie eating contest. I'm working out the details with Chris and the brain trust but mark your calenders because it's going to happen. On that note, here are some pictures with half-assed comments from the Big Mac Event.
So here's the thing, i dont really know how to work this thing just yet...thank you for putting up with my inability to use modern technology.

This one's for my Homies
As it turns out, people have been checking my blog out pseudo-regularly and some have become quite upset that i haven't been updating this thing more consistently. So here's an update:
The Big Mac thing is still a go, this sunday March 16th, the Rock N' Roll McDonalds at 4:30. I hope to see all of you there. If you have any questions at all or just want to talk about how excited you are for me, you can give me a call. Hell just call me anyway, i like all of you. If you can't make it thats cool, i'll post the pictures as soon as humanly possible. Here are some facts about Big Mac's that might interest you:
- It's got 540 Calories (260 of those are from FAT)
- The Big Mac has 29 grams of fat, that's damn near half of my daily value
- 25% of my daily calcium intake can be found in one Big Mac
Those were a few facts that caught my eye. Tune in tomorrow when we will trace the history of this iconic piece of Americana. One love.

Blogging at a 3rd grade level...
So i am under the impression that a blog is an outlet for my friends and people who don't know me to stay up to date on my day to day happenings. well here are the highlights for today march 5th 2008:
I got paid
My half gallon of milk expired today (it was only half done)
i had a Slurpee
i got to talk to Alonzo the homeless guy outside of Walgreen's for a while today. we talked about old westerns with Bruce the neighborhood mailman
My left over pasta was still good
i learned that original crunchers potato chips are better than the jalapeno ones
And on a sad note...
while doing my laundry this evening i somehow managed to lose a shirt. I don't really know how but it happened, so if you happen across a small black long sleeve t-shirt that says New Balance Chicago across the chest please let me know. i'm still hyped up about the big mac deal, stay tuned for more updates as i have really nothing else to do. That's all i got.

Oh snap the Justice Show
It has come to my attention by way of my good friend Mac that the Justice show is in fact the night of the 20th, therefore the Big Mac ceremony will definitely be moved to Sunday March the 16th. I like Big Mac's & i cannot lie....
At least i think i might. Being 23 (a month away from 24, really not a day past 8) it has become clear to me that there are quite a few decidedly "American" things that i have not experienced. Number one on that list is the consumption of the Big Mac, a storied piece of Americana. On March 20th, 2008 between 7:30 and 8:00 p.m. I will be at the Rock n' Roll McDonald's in Chicago ready to cross not having eaten a Big Mac off the list. I invite all who are interested to come along and experience this mediocre moment with me. Please feel free to post an RSVP if you can make it. Till my second post, keep it real.
